IT industry here in the Philippines is one of the most benefited fields as its economy grow in lieu with the swiftly changing and modernizing country. Countries like United States, Korea and Singapore are into sharpening the IT industry as they go forward for civilization.
As a presumptive candidate for the President, Rodrigo Duterte has put into plan to fasten the Internet Speed for better and speedy communication services. Moreover, Duterte told the media in Davao on Saturday evening that he would hammer out a policy to improve the country's internet speed, one of the slowest in Asia. Further, If telcos fail to shape up, the industry would be opened to foreign competition, Duterte was quoted as saying.
The same policy would apply to the energy sector, which he said is being run like a cartel. He said he will open the industry to foreign investors to improve services and bring down power rates, one of the highest in Asia.
